I found in my OM651 engine as long as you keep it at 2000 rpm or above it will regen normally from 30-50 mph, mine will stop the regen and start again after stopping at road ends. Not sure how a forced regen works on the move with software (maybe Alexander could answer that?). I take it you had the engine up to working temp before you ran the regen program? That looks high soot content unless the software didn't complete the cycle? Have you got a icarsoft? I use mine to monitor the DPF just to keep an eye on it. Check your other diagnostic reader if it has got live data as it could help you watch what way the DPF is filling and if it does a natural regen.
