I found in my OM651 engine as long as you keep it at 2000 rpm or above it will regen normally from 30-50 mph, mine will stop the regen and start again after stopping at road ends. Not sure how a forced regen works on the move with software (maybe Alexander could answer that?). I take it you had the engine up to working temp before you ran the regen program? That looks high soot content unless the software didn't complete the cycle? Have you got a icarsoft? I use mine to monitor the DPF just to keep an eye on it. Check your other diagnostic reader if it has got live data as it could help you watch what way the DPF is filling and if it does a natural regen.

From my understanding the vehicle will only trigger a regen when the fill content reaches 100%, forced regen is a little different as it has specific requirements before it will run. The forced regen will only start when the vehicle has met all conditions to run the regen, one of them is driving the car at less than or equal to 50 km/h as well as engine/oil temps etc. No icarsoft using Xentry. I will give it another attempt today just not sure where to drive at 50 km/h and keep the revs about 1800.

Around town is usually very easy to achieve the <50 KMH rule, its approximately 28 mph. You can stop for brief periods and It won't cancel.

Make sure you disable your Stop/Start function for if your engine stops so will the regen and it will continue to fill until your next regen trigger when restarted.

Have had success today ... Not sure how quick the fill% is supposed to increase the test ended on 7% and after a short drive home it increase to 10.5% will continue to monitor it over the next few weeks. The power is even more than when i bought it. Thank you all for your contributions especially Alexander for the tips. :)

Mine will increase at a rate of 1% every 3-4 miles dependent upon which fuel I use, standard or premium so an increase of 3.5% fill level would extrapolate to a distance of 10-14 Miles travelled on your short journey home!

Not more than 6 mileS, im using BP premium at preset. So is the normal operation to incease and burn naturally when it gets to 100%? what do you make of the soot and ash content.

The temperatures on mine start rising from a 99% fill level and regeneration starts at 100%, I've never recorded a level in excess of 100% fill level. The soot and ash readings increase more slowly, they don't appear to follow the same cycle with the regeneration but they do empty periodically, I last looked about a month ago during a service and I had 0g of soot and ash, I have never seen them above 4/5g so your current levels appear to be within normal operating parameters as far as I can determine!
ETA, with premium diesel mine will regen every 300 miles or so, 400 with standard..

Nice job Wayne, hopefully thats you sorted:) There might be a message show up on your dash LCD " Drive at high engine speed" if you miss a regen. Not sure if its on the cars but it is on my van. It usually flashes this message if I'm doing a lot of short runs over a period of time. Xentry is far superior over icarsoft. I just keep my i980 plugged in all the time to monitor the fill levels, and clear a non limp mode swirl flap code from time to time.

Nice job so far but one thing that does catch my eye there Wayne is the difference in the exhaust temp sensors unless you've just started the car from cold?
