Hi All.
I have just brought a 1995 W124 E220 Coupe and noticed the battery keep drying after a couple of days. Reading forums on the internet I have tried the below and still no luck.
Remove the boot blub.
Remove the negative cable from the battery and using multimeter cables connect red multimeter cable to negative cable from the car and black multimeter cable to the negative of the battery. Put the setting to 20amp on the meter and getting a reading of about 12 amps.
Does this mean something 12amps is draining the battery constantly?
I brought a battery charger and charged it over night and the car started at one go.
I not sure what to do. Any ideas anyone?
