E220d v. E200d

If I was looking to buy a 2016 -18 version of these do you have any advice, warnings or preferences? And is the OM 654 on the 220 superior (and newer?)

The OM654 with the 9G box can be very economical, I did 48k miles in an E220d back in 2016/17 and loved it…
However with software updates and the benefit of time Euro 6 diesels aren’t the place to be unless you’re doing mega miles.
Please have a search of the forum, lots of expensive issues unfortunately. It’s one reason I’m in a V6 petrol…

^+1 my thoughts entirely unless you are going to be a high mileage user absolutely no point in buying an EU6 diesel petrol is a much better option

Video stresses me out! (but i'm no mechanic.) And the cost of that little job?
Thanks for all that news (to me at least) So if I go petrol and want an E - what should I get if my budget is up to £20k max with no high miles but prefer not to feed the tank with ££'s ?
