How do I test the alignment on my car. I recently had the mot done and it passed ok - but I think the lights are out of alignment. help

I believe that most haynes manuels give the lamp test set up info, otherwise it does not cost much to have it done elswhere.

Easy enough to test for a basic alignment against a wall. Are you sure that they are out or is the headlight level switch set too low or too high?

I think they too low - when I drive at night (not very often) along the unlit A10 the cats eyes don't shine !

Don't you have a thumb wheel to adjust the hieght, if so this should be set to the highest position, before adjustment.
