Just noticed today that the horn on my 2000X E240 isn't working! First thing I did was look for a fuse in the main fusebox but can't find one. Any ideas if the horn has a separate fuse and were to find it?
Thanks
Brian

Yes you do have a fuse, and a horn relay, though the fault is probably in the horn itself. just put a volt meter or a bulb on the wires on the horn to test.

Neither method has worked unfortunately! I put a volt meter on the horn terminals and no voltage detected when the horn pad pressed. Can hear a relay clicking when the horn is pressed but no voltage detected. Does this mean that the horn is not necessarily broken but there may be a broken wire going to the horn? Any idea where I can find the fuse to check it? Doesn't appear to be in the main fusebox, according to the list.
Thanks.

If you can hear the relay click when you press the horn button I would assume that the fuse is ok. Fuse is in the main fusebox under the bonnet , listed under "fanfare".

You must have a horn relay somewhere ,as you cant pass the large currents that the horn uses through the steering slip ring.
