E240 Missfire

I've got a missfire above 4000rpm. Just changed plugs, leads and MAF sensor. Car is a 2000 E240 V6 with 65000 miles. Any ideas, could a coil pack be on the out?

Not a coil pack, More like fuel pump relay, this contains the engine rev limiter that cuts revs to 4k when in nuetral, I will try and find more info.

Is this misfire when driving ,or when stationary with the car in neutral? If it's while stationary it's a rev limiter as Malcolm says to avoid engine/gearbox damage and is normal.

As above - its normal for neutral. In my experience, any ignition fault on the 240 is most noticable at idle. Being V6 and twin spark it generally smooths out once running.

Thanks all for your answers. The problem is when stationary in park as I was checking for missfire after changing plugs and leads.
