e240 wont rev in a morning

as the title says my 99 e240 2.4 wont rev once left overnight, it suddenly started to happen, its starts perfectly and if left for 5 mins will rev but missfire, after another 5 mins all is fine. its been plugged in and is showing a missfire on 5 cylinders. I was about to change the plugs but I thought the symptoms could be related to air getting in the fuel line, but would this cause the computer to read a missfire??
your advice is appreciated as im only used to working on diesel engines.

These cars are not like diesels with the air in the fuel problems. I am sure that your faults are electronic

The MAF aint gettin a bit Condensated is it ....Could be yer problem
