Hey, I have a E250 Blue-Cy Agarde Cdi W212 2010 that has issues with its power output. The car has done 103,000 miles.
When starting the car it is normal but after 20-30 minutes it goes into limp mode and the check engine light comes on. When idle with the car, the rev meter bounces at 1000 rpm. The car does not kickback into lower gears when I press on the throttle all the way and the turbo does not kick in and it is unable to rev to 5000 rpm. However, when restarting the car, it goes to normal but returns to limp mode.
I took it into Mercedes for a diagnosis and they told me that I had:
-EGR Bypass Flap Broken
-Water Pump and thermostat broken
-EGR Cooler seal leaking
-Boost hose leaking
-Fuel filter needs replacing as incorrect coolant
After I went to a regular mechanic and changed out the EGR and fitted a brand new one as per his advice but that has still not fixed the issue and only has made it slightly better.
What can I do to get my car back to normal?
