Hi all,

I recently experienced a nightmare - driving down M6 & car just lost all power, 3 months later garage still trying to source a new engine.

My question to people is should I pay the 6K quoted by garage (needs new engine) to fix or sell for parts - the car is in great shape, few body scratches, plus wear & tear

If anyone is interested on the forum please message me as happy to listen & consider.

I will try to get more photos but at garage at moment.

THANKS in advance for your help

Hi thanks for reply. Basically the mechanic said there is loads of metal flowing all around the engine so needs stripping or a new engine.

Its 2010 plated.
