I am still trying to track down a slight steering wheel (only) buzz at about 1100-1200 rpm when driving at on flat with hardly any throttle. I am also detecting a slight(very slight) buzz / vibration on some road surfaces. I am also able to stop the car and put it into park and rev to 1100-1200 and get the buzz some of the time.

I have replace front engine mounts
I have replace thermostat

I am now starting to look at steering and suspension.

Could someone please tell me if there is a steering damper on the E270 or some other adjustment to dampen vibration or tighten the steering rack to remove any small amount of play..

I have checked looking up from a pit and cant see anything touching the steering column, thats why I thought it might be a damper or some adjustment.

I have just purchased a 2003 plate E270 86,000 miles. I am getting vibration at about 1100 rpm and it is really annoying in slow traffic. My selling garage have changed the engine mounts, gear box mounts and gear oil. Although it has the Valeo radiator they have ruled out coolant in the transmission.
Can you tell me please did you ever resolve the problem with your E270 vibration and if so how ? your reply will be really appreciated.
