E300 Audio wiring Colours

Anyone got any idea about the what wire does what on an E300. My mate has just brought a K Plate of the above and wants me to fit a stereo in it as It didn't come wih one. Seems whoever had it before had a stereo in but decided to massacre the original wiring loom to favour spade connections instead of buying a cheap adaptor.

The problem i have got is that I have found the live using a volt meter which seems to have been spliced together with the power antenna cable but no combination of wiring up power seems to let me turn on the new head unit.

Anyone got any ideas on the colours of the wires because it has got me stumped at he moment.

If you have found the live 12+ make sure that the radio is eathed (grounded) its no good just using the antenna this being the case it must power up, do you still have 12+ on the live when powered up
