took the merc to trade in for a quality car make..(ie not merc) and agreed the deal etc
supposed to be picking the car up next saturday..got home from the showroom and the ****** alarm has gone tits up!..typical merc quality!!
as soon as the doors lock the alarm goes off
dont know if its supposed to but the rear interior light comes on at the same time..this is instant btw..as soon as you turn it on the alarm goes off!
checked all the door switches, boot switch, sensors inside etc etc
had the pcb out that sits in the roof and nothing is burnt out or bad solder joints etc
is there anything else to look for or worse ways a way around it so i can at least still use the alarm fobs to lock and unlock the doors as i really dont wanna spend any more money on this piece of merc junk..plus i gotta sort it by this friday to go through with the volvo deal!
btw..volvo dealers...and seven..yes that was 7 mercs traded in in there car park for volvos!! something to think about!
also..whats the most traded in car for a lexus..yup you guessed it!
only way i can lock the car now is by locking the boot with the key and locking the three doors from the inside than the drivers door with the key lastly....HELP PLEASE!!!!
