My Car has taken to intermittently (ie once per month or so) it cuts out whilst driving. It won't restart straight away, however, after 10 minutes or so it starts fine.

It may be my imagination, however, it appears to be smoother after it re-starts. I had the faults read and nothing came up

My car has 160k miles - in all other respects it is fine - the engine is not as smooth as a newer one - however, it is perfectly acceptable, it remains powerful and economical, often returning 45mpg on my 150 mile commute from Birmingham to Southamton

I am concerned that the car is going to fail soon and not re-start. As it is an intermittent fault which does not show STAR I am at a loss what to do

I suspect one of the pressure sensors has become faulty or the fuel filter is blocked up.
