Looks like I have dreaded glycol prob with my E320 cdi 2003 model. A friend has a spare torque converter off a 2002 C180 Komp. Anyone know if this will fit mine or not?

I cannot for the life of me understand why MB did not get these cars back and change the radiators or at least warn owners and get the radiators replaced, perhaps by offering parts free and customers pay the labour. The costs are small compared to the cost of the auto. It would help MB generate goodwill which they are going to need.

Its disgusting that I have a 40 grand car, 5 years old with a well known design fault and am going to have to shell out 1 - 2k to fix it. My Subaru Impreza STi got thrashed every time I drove it and NEVER EVER let me down. Not as refined but a much better car. Mercedes are simply greedy!
