E320 Cruise Control

I have a 1996 E320 Coupe (5sp auto) which is well specced but lacks cruise control. I would like to retro fit. Mercedes themselves have been less than helpful. Anyone got any clues?

I have an E220 coupe, 1994 and it too was without cruise control. The dealer in Bradford quoted me £1500 plus labour plus VAT to retro fit which made me kind of wince.
I went to Conrad Anderson and bought one of their aftermarket ones. Paid £190 and it was a 2 hour job to fit it myself, the instructions were very clear. They do fit for you if you dont feel up to tackling it yourself, worth a look especially if you dont want to pay dealer prices.

when you say e300 do you have a 124 or 210 E class ( first 3 of VIN)
If 124 forget it it would cost 3 grand ish but if you have a 210 with an auto box it should be possible for quite little money
