E320 Cruise Control

I have a 1996 E320 Coupe (5sp auto) which is well specced but lacks cruise control. I would like to retro fit. Mercedes themselves have been less than helpful. Anyone got any clues?

Hi

MB would be less than helpfull because its not as straight forward as most people would think. Depending on chassis number you MAY be able to retrofit. But its would still be expensive as the cruise works through the idle actuator. These items are expensive. If you want cruise. Then I would suggest buying another vehicle or getting another retrofrit brand to fit the vehicle. The trouble with fitting a spurious system. Is when it goes wrong the company has usually gone out of business or you can't get the spare parts.
