E320 Estate Wash Wipe

Usual help required please

Have as above, the rear wash wipe froze and I used it iand the 'plug' on the back of the water nozzle (facing interior when tailgate closed) came off and disappeared. In my wisdom, I siliconed a plastic cap in it's pplace but unfortunately the silicon travelled too far and blocked the nozzle which I cannot remove.

My question is how do i remove the central plastic piece to replace ?? The plastic in question is the one where the water pipe connects and being circa 3 inches long protrudes and jets the water on the glass.

It is somehow clipped into the metal housing but i just cannot see how to remove.

I hope it is clear what I am tryinng to say...if not just tell me

A quick how to or a diagram would be great.

It is a 2001 model.

ks a different set up to mine. The valve is within 4 inches of the actual mechanism/wiper.

The piece I am after removing is the where the water comes out onto the screen. This is a 3 inch piece of plastic tube + jets x 2 that from the inside of the tailgate goes through the centre of the wiper mechanism.

I would say that having put the full VIN in the Russian site it brings up the same diagram...but it just isnt the right schematic for my car

May try and take a piccy and post that up if you have no joys Malcolm.

Thx again, I've got to get it sorted before winter, the 'blacked out' rear window effect (caused by dirt etc) is just not a good look on my hearse
