E320 Oil Change Message

I have a 2000 E320. I just changed the oil and cannot figure out how to eliminate the message that says I am now past due for servicing. How do I reset the message center to begin measuring for the next oil change?

Its all in the manual how to reset the assyst.. look in the interior owners manual..

basically.

turn key to position 2
immediatly press button 0 twice within one second
turn key to 0 position
press and hold button 0
after 10- seconds acoustic signal
release button 0

simple..

service reset

This is done through the multi function steering wheel.Turn ignition on make sure speedo display is showing in instrument cluster and press the up arrow (on the top left of steering wheel) until the service reminder is displayed press and hold the r button at the bottom left of instrument cluster, display will ask you to confirm by pressing r you need to release the r button and then press and hold the r button in again.
