E320 Radio

Hi All,

I am a new member, so forgive me if this topic has come up in the recent past. I recently bought my first Merc, an 02 E320 CDI. I must say that the car is great but the radio is lousy! In RDS mode, the sound "stutters" while the radio sorts out the best frequecy etc. Is this common on this radio? If so does any one know if a fix is available?

This problem will occur with any RDS radio that has a poor signal. Check the antenna connection ( tho I must confess my radio works fine but there is no visible radio antenna on the car! - guess its in one of the windows)???
