Just keep up the good work.
Those who said just dig deep and carry on are absolutely right. My 2002 C Class estate was bought second hand some years ago and I spent nearly £5,000 in the first six months. It made it a very expensive C Class but it has now been superb (with regular more minor attention from first class local Merc specialist) for a number of years and I hope it will see me out! It still tows a caravan to Spain every year and has only needed minor assistance whilst in France and Spain. It has to be money well spent once the car is in good nick and doing what you want.
