E350 CDI coupe 2012 boot lock handle not releasing

Boot lock won’t open mechanically but opens o.k on fob or remote door switch, also opens with key..
I don’t know if it’s related but the small light on the edge of the boot lid interior trim doesn’t work either (new bulb fitted). The lock micro switch checks out o.k with a circuit tester. I’m unable to find a relevant wiring diagram for my car. Has anybody got a possible solution, please?
