E350 Coupe LED Star on grill

Good evening guys,

Could someone with expertise advise where I should connect this grill LED star to?

Would you link it to the daytime running lights or to the side lights or any other suggestions?

Sidelights would be nearest and then the Star would only light up when you have the lights on. Either way, I wonder whether “the system” will throw up an error if it detects a greater current drain than it expects? Others may know the definitive answer.

Direct to a sparking plug!!
