E500 AMG Spec

I'm itching for a nice powerful Mercedes and this one tempted me, but alas, when I contacted the seller, it was gone.:-
This sort of car is changing my mind about a C43 AMG.:-?

Nomenclature could be misleading. I reckon that's an E500 with AMG trim rather than a true E55.

Still a cracking car and surprisingly fast too, without the expense of AMG consumables e.g. brake pads and disks.

Yes, the previous owner obviously added a load of AMG kit when it was bought.

It's a nice spec (Panorama roof is always nice to have, even if it does make the car heavier), newer, bigger, cheaper to run and not much slower than a C43. But doesn't have *that* badge or *that* engine.......

You can pick one up from a main dealer (usually Mercedes Direct) for that sort of price too and you'll geta ful warranty and Mobilo Life.

I've discovered since, that with the air suspension, they handle like a boat, not in the same league at all, as an E55 AMG.
