I change my wheels ages ago an now have a slight, tyre brushing wing issue with the fronts. to make matter worse I bought new tyre some months ago.

Rather than buy new tyres again I am considering getting E500 wings as refurbs wont hurt the wings as they currently stand .

Now the story is established, will the E500 wings fit?

Yes they will fit, but are VERY expensive around £500 from MB. A used pair from germany will be around £400+shipping. What spec are the wheels and what tyre size are you running? depending on the info, I may or may not have a solution.

Your wheels sit 31mm further inside the arch than the ones on my coupe.
Ive had 8.5x17" et 30 wheels with 225 45 17 tyres, and now have 8"x18 et31 with 235 40 18 tyres, all with no rubbing issue.
I assure you these wheels are not the reason that the tyres are touching the arch. If anything Id use spacers to bring the wheels out a little, I dont they would fit a 320 as they wouldnt clear the brake calipers.
Id suggest you have your suspension components checked and alignment too, I had a similar problem years ago on a 190e, and it was the alignment at fault.

With the wheels you have, the problem is more likely that the inside of the wheel is touching rather than the outside touching the arch.
