Hi All,

First hope you had a good xmas and new year :)

You may (or may not) remember me saying about traction problems with my E55, I thought it might be the tyres. I noticed the other day the passenger rear of the car was alot lower than the other side so think I might have a problem with the suspension.
I have the hydraulic suspension system where you can switch between "sport" and "comfort" but I must admit I have no idea about suspension (especially this type)
I checked the hydraulic resovoir at the front right of the car and the level on the front says its just below minimum BUT theres also a dipstick which says its near max.
I have also had the car to a MB dealer and specialist and they said the fluid is fine.

Anyone any ideas?

thanks

hi, Others on here will know far better than i, but it may just be the self-levelling suspension, if your car has it. I know the 02+ models did. Made me think twice when i noticed it on my car!

thanks, sorry should have mentioned that. I was in a car park and I have also checked it on my drive. Its quite a difference too not just a little.

On the passenger rear the top of the tyre is almost level with the arch on the other side theres a good 1.5" I would think.

Thanks

There are so many things to check.

Does the rear go up and down when loaded?

Are the springs ok?
