E63 keyless go

My pal just collected his E63 (i really cant wait for my cl now!) It has keyless entry and the spec sheet says keyless go but there is no button, you have to use the key? Whats that all about?

Is it the W212 E63? If so, is the key slot next to the light switch? A lot of dealers take the keyless go button out of these cars for reasons best known to themselves (security?) and "forget" to put them back in. If it's like the picture below but without the button, it would be worth a phone call explaining that you/ your pal want this button.

I think they need the key in the ignition to run certain diagnostics IIRC so as above take the button off. It might be in the ‘ashtray’, that’s where I used to find mine after a service!
If not ask the dealer, they can give you another one

As above, just needs a new button.
I noticed the E63 I was test driving was missing the KG button.
A new button was fitted before I collected the car.
