Ahh thanks!
I haven't seen that one. I did look up on another site which gave all the codes and what they were, I think I have them on the Wartungsheft too now I look at it. But this is great it gives even more info.
Engine and transmission are original.
Yes, the inside key by the glove box does lock all the inside compartments (almost).
No mention of door exterior central locking though, so I guess that is correct!?? That must be quite unusual, also with no air bags?
Where it says "company employee" does that mean that was who bought it? I have a number for this category: 1818678 3.
Also it originally had 4 Dunlops. I would like to do that for it.
Wonder what the draft deflector is, don't think it has it anymore anyway.
Wish I still had the radio. Has a Sony unit.

It's a very, very basic specification! It does seem to have been purchased by a company employee - probably some sort of employee discount buying scheme. Maybe that explains the basic specification.

The draft detector was a device you attached to the raised roll bar to reduce the draught in the cabin when open top driving. It was stored in the front wall of the boot behind an elasticated cover..

Ah yes that draft thing. Not with the car now sadly.
A company employee, that is interesting.
Yeah very basic, but tasteful and kind of drivers' car ish, more of a sports car than a GT.
Did you know Stirling Moss ripped out his airbags, he he! At least I don't have to.
The website misses the 'fanfare horns' though!

Ha ha, yeah. That adds a bit more info, thanks!
It hasn't been changed at all, except radio (I would like to get original one but they are expensive, about 800 Euros), but the car is also rather lower than most that I see. I do get the rotation on cornering, I would guess the car is quite light for an SL, at least in comparison.
