Hi All,

I wondered if you could help me please.

I have set the convenience function on the dash to turn on the easy entry function (steering wheel out the way and seat back) but nothing ever happens then I get in or get out of the car! Am I doing something wrong? Oh its an '05 SL 500 btw.

Thanks for your help.

The easy entry function only works within certain parameters. So, the seat will only move back if it's not already back beyond a certain point, so as to avoid crushing the folk in the back (makes sense on my E, not so sure about an SL but anyway...). The wheel will only move up if it's down beyond a certain point.
So, if the Mrs (5'1) gets out, it all works. If I do (6'0) then the seat doesn't move but as I have it set in the middle, the wheel does.
