anything modern its liked in with the immobiliser - isn't this why you need to steal cars by getting the key ?

i know newer cars are hooked into the key and various other things depending on manufacturer , I'm looking at the possibility of getting another 215 and transferring the remapped ECU and panel filters off my current car , hence the question , I just thought on a 2003 car it maybe still be plug and play

But maybe as well to remap the new cars ECU
