Ecu Reset

hi all, are there any known methods for a ECU reset for C180 1997.

hi there,
the only one i know is to diconnect the battery for a few seconds, then reconnect.this should reset as i am having to do on a regular basis for electric window and central locking problems. the only thing is the car has to teach itself again your driving style this takes about 10 to 30 miles. hope this helps. chris.

disconnect battery and hold the +/- cables together for a second ot two.
