Hello,
My problem is as follows. I know my way around a soldering station. I know computers but knowledge about engines and their inner workings is not my strong side. So guys at the workshop disabled my EGR with plugs, but ECU gets error signal when I use full throttle and then disables throttle completely until i shut off the engine and restart it again, then it works again. Also I get plenty of smoke out of exhaust. I have read the full 52 pages thread about disabling EGR and the sheer mountain of information overwhelms me. Is there anybody who can explain to me where is EGR connector, MAF wires and sensors and where do i have to install the workaround with transistor and resistors which schematics i got from Alex's post.
My car is Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005 actually 3,0l V6 CRD with Mercedes engine and transmission.
Best wishes,
Alar

P.S. Sorry for my bumpy English, it is not my mother-tongue.
