Hello, I am glad to find a sight about MB and DIY! I have a US 2008 E320. I think they are great cars. I am working on the oil cooler..out with orange in with purple! I am hoping to find an EGR delete setup without hurting my Regen or that I may be able to to induce regeneration with a scanner. I would like to keep the intake clean and put on a larger or more efficient intercooler.

Thanks. I hope I can learn to use this site! It took me years to save up for a MB. I hope to have it going strong for years to come.

Welcome buddy , I think the only egr delete will be via a "mapping/tuning" company that can plug in to the cars ecu ?

Thanks for the comments . I was able to find some good info about using 3 resistors and a blocking plate here but as I tried to download the diagram this site said I needed to join to be able to download content. Now that I have I can't find where I was! The information is out here. I just need to learn how to use this great resource. I was a helicopter mechanic for many years... That's why I like MB....it's as technical as I can afford I like fixing things. I can run it the way it is but I would like to keep the crank case and intake clean and regeneration for DPF. I want to keep it forever....We can't get them in the US anymore! Thes are great cars. I am trying to save up for a MB RV with the same driveline next. Thanks for any info we can share.

I'm not sure about this , but I thought the resistors and the blanking plate version of the egr delete was for the earlier E class versions , not the om642 V6 engine ??
