Electric Mirrors

My Door Mirrors have stopped working on my 2001 V-Class, drivers side folds in ok but not out,passengers not at all, glass on both will move to the left & up.This happened after a service,the mirrors were folded in & after a booster was attached to the battery to help it turn over for the fuel to pump into the filter.
I was thinking a surge of power after it was disconnected,the passengers mirror was in its nomal position (dont know if the mechanic had knocked it )

Was this an MB garage, I do not think so as booster's must never be used on our cars. if you look in your handbook it will tell you how to re sync them if they are not damaged.

Sorry Malcolm, could you expand? What do you mean by boosters and why not?

No it wasn't a MB garage, I will look at the handbook to see if I can re-sync them.

How do you re-sync them, nothing in the handbook. I can't hear the left hand motor working.
