i have a 86 260e and 3 of the windows are not working n/s front & both rears i have checked fueses when you try front revs drop nothing on rears there is power getting to switch as it lights up any ideas welcome

You will need to take the motors out I'm sorry to say. On my old 95 280E the O/S/R wouldn't work and when operated the rev's would drop. Once the inside door panel was removed the motor came out without too much of a problem. Found it to be seized solid. After trying for hours to free it without any joy, I ended up visiting my neighbour hood scrapyard and got one for a £10.

P.S. Make sure if you get one from a junk yard the motor is free turning
