Hi Steve, I would first get some non drying switch cleaner from Maplins and remove all of the fuses and clean the holders and fuse contacts, also check the fuses to see if any are blown

C250 elecrical probems - Me too

I am experiecing the same sort of problems on my 1998 C250Td Esprit estate. The central locking, front windows, rear view mirrors all decided to stop working a couple of months ago. I found that by removing the relevant fuses and replacing them solved the problem - albeit temporarily. The last time it happened the removal of the fuses did not work so I disconnected the battery. This again solved the problem but I`m far from convinced its totally cured. The correspondance in the threads suggest that the problem could be with a relay. I`ve found the relays and wiped them off with contact cleaner and replaced them; however the Haynes manual does not identify specific relays or their functions. It would appear tha the fault is with the N10 multirelay (??). Where is this located please and where`s the best place to obtain a new one.
A couple of other problems have also occured:

1 The front interior courtesy lights do not come on when the doors open but do work on the overhead switch
2 The windscren wiper has suddenly started to make extremely hard work of the central third of it sweep.

Any advice on the above would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.
