Yes. Buy some engine degreaser, a few cheap brushes, and rinse off with water from one of those weak plant sprayer thingies (the ones with the trigger that you pump).
Keep water away from electrics. They dinnae like it!
I used 3 cans of Mr Muscle oven cleaner on my Trooper. Had to replace the head gasket so everything was oily.
20 year old motor engine bay came up looking like new.
Also cleans Alloys very well too.

Also don't forget some plastic dressing for the finishing touches.
