Engine lights - after adding Ad B

Before I go spend a fortune. Can anyone advise? My Ad b light came on. I took it to Halfords, who filled it up. Said light went off. After about 120 miles the next day, the warning engine light has come on?!
I’ve checked the oil etc, it’s all ok..

You need the codes read , could be a complete coincidence and not ad blue related.

Eml usually lights up after maybe 5 or 6 consecutive same faults.

Oh dear, this mirrors my experience of an Adblue tank level sensor fault. The next stage for me was the dreaded 500 mile countdown. Unfortunately a new tank was needed as the sensors in my car are not changeable. However, as onefortheroad said, it could be a coincidence and hopefully not Adblue.

If the system is overfilled it can loose its calibrated level. We've done a couple that by draining the adblue system and refilling it 5 litres short of its 25 litre capacity then resetting the software has cured the problem.
