Hi all my name is Paul Richfield and I live over here in France, not far from Angouleme in the Charente where there is a classic car race each year around the old town and I am happy to say that it is very well supported by the British pilots.
I have as a every day transport a 1990 TD200 Diesel estate and I am trying to change its `Status` to a collectors car one,I have all the documents and photos prepared except for one-they insist a photo of the engine number in situ.I have 3 manuals and they all agree one thing that its marked on the left hand side of the block but there none are in agreement to its EXACT location! behind the injection pump/above the engine mounting/----?.
I have all ready removed the air box and its piping and still no sign,I must admit as the car is in every day use the state of the block is not pristine!
If anyone can direct me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful yours in hope Paul Richfield.
