engine oil

hi all is it ok to use synyhetic oil on a 1997 c230k
i think i read somewhere that you shouldnt use synthetic oil on a old car
the car has only done 96k

Hi welcome to the forum,
if your engine number starts 111 ( as mine does ) then I would only run her on a fully synthetic either Mobil One 0w-40, or Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40.
