Engine oil

I cant post in the DIY yet so hope this is in the right section
I want to know what is the best engine oil for my CLK200 kompressor w208 year 2002
I have been looking at the Motul 6100 Synergie 10w40 or the upgraded Motul 8100xcess 5w40
What does everyone think ???

The main thing is that it meets a spec of MB229.1 but better still 229.3 at least

It should pull up the correct oils and filters.
