Engine over-run on E200D 1992 imported

Any info on this gratefully received. Engine does not shut down on switching off and key removal. Fuel cut-off valve faulty? User serviceable?

A diesel
The shut off is vacuum operated. It probably has a split diaphagm. Available from MB deale or Bosh diesel agent.

There should be a manual shut off on the pump.
