Hi

My c180K has been on a STAR to diagnose engine warning light problem, and they have told me it is the bypass hose. The dealership told me they could hear it when they drove it into the garage and told me it affects fuel consumption and performance. As they have quoted me a ridiculous figure to replace it I have phoned around other garages, problem is none have heard of it. Is this the correct term?

Thanks

I suspect the breather pipes above and under the super charger..........

We keep 2 sets of pipes and the one way valve as its a real common fault.....

Frontstep - I got quoted £355 as I'm told its labour intensive. I did post about this before but didn't get an answer.

To be fare, you left it with a resolution that required no further input. You came back and said its the bypass hose.
