Drive a Merc and it boosts your image!, why destroy your street cred by sticking an england flag on it??!!

Sorry but I think they are very downmarket. I wouldn't even put one on my Golf :p

Do you mean a foreign plated car or a foreign built car. If the latter you must be laughing your head off all day.
On an aside, tried to buy a Slovenian shirt for my son in Ljubljana a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely impossible non available at all, yet if I wanted a Cameroon, Brazilian, England or Italian shirt I could have had my pick.

Brooklyn,

The Germans did!!!!!!!!! - Rolls Royce, Bentley and of course MG Rover, where the English got their own back!

Personally, I have the problem whether to fly the German or English flag. Since we are off to the German Alps straight after the World Cup I thought it prudent not to fly either of them! Com'on Brazil! Brazil! Brazil!

I don't but a mate of mine stuck a couple on his (Damiler Chrysler) Jeep. I think he's upset some of his sniffier neighbours.

I think it's pretty harmless really.

I am the sort of person who will get more and more tempted the further England go.

It's not often we get to celebrate something (and I am Scottish by the way, though living in London)

Saw my first one today on a white van, I think it was a Merc,at the roundabout outside Strathclyde Park , for some reason they don't seem too popular up here.

I am half German so I have the same problem. I have already been instructed by my mother to watch the German game today as she has an appontment she can't get out of. Trouble is I don't like football ;)

I thought that these flags were some sort of penalty or something like green P plates.

I wasn't sure of the structure but thought it was something like one endorsment=one flag, two endorsments=two flags.

I think I'll start flashing at them and pointing to the flags, same way as you do when you see somebody with a McDonalds meal on the roof.

It always makes me irritated seeing the Cross of St George with the word ENGLAND superimposed on it. Is this aimed at people too stupid to realise what the flag represents without some explanatory wording?

Milan has the Cross of St. George as its City flag, albeit with a further image in the centre..... Perhaps these people are Italians and dont want to associate with Milan?
