Envy stripe

A couple of weeks ago a kind Gentleman or maybe even a Lady gave me an envy stripe down the front drivers door and front wing, both scratches are about a foot long. It hasn't broken through the paint but it can be felt with your finger nail. I have tried assaulting it with T-Cut with little effect. Is this something that is repairable by a 'Chips Away' type company ? Someone just looking at the car probably wouldn't spot it straight away but I know it is there and come P/X day it will cost me money. Any recommendations gratefully received

ScratchX remover is pretty good, and if you’ve the nerve. Autosol chrome/metal polish will take out most surface scratches, and surface paint from “kissing” another car. Try not to cry whilst using it though… it just feels wrong.
