Booked my car in for its first service today trying to get into my nearest dealerships they couldn’t get me in before Christmas so had to go a little further afield. Was told there are no courtesy cars available in the group due to low stock. For my £22 a month service plan thought that was part of the plan.

We always have 2 courtesy cars on the rotation. Think about adding a third but so much hastle.

I am constantly suprised at how much trouble it is for most main dealers to supply a good service

Read your contract, all the relevant details will be published within, if it's still not clear then simply inform them they've lost the work on this item alone and find a dealership who will provide.
Far too many businesses are using these times to ruthlessly increase profits under the guise of Brexit, Covid etc, and as long as customers just accept and keep paying the increases they will keep on charging them, vote with your feet!

Dealer customer orientation really is hit and miss. I find it depends on who you are talking too. Sadly the people do suffer from lack of training and any clue about cars let alone the products they sell in this case the service plan.

That said read the plan.

Just like dealer salesman selling car advising customer it can tow caravan, when it's not rated to do so. Dealers want staff, don't want to train em. Never buy new go good indy buy 2 Yr old, have a better experience.
