Anyone have a similar issue

Contact Erisin?

is it all radio bands FM/AM & DAB, check if your car has an antenna amplifier, check the fuse for it.

I fitted one for a friend that required a feed from the unit to power the antenna amp. It was a small supplied cable that needed fitting. After that the radio was great.

Good call, the Kendwood system I fitted in the VeeDubs didn’t have the supply for the antenna amp by design, so I had to add a feed.

The model specific Erisin should be plug and play.
The output from the HU to the amp will be the blue wire.
To confirm find the amp and check there is 12 volts at that, in case the blue feed isn't carried through at the connector.
To check the feed onward to the amp you really need the original HU.

In the image below which is for a W245 B class, it is number 29/30 which should be connected to number 6.

The ISO connector should pass the amp feed through to the amp.
Sometimes there are more than 1 ISO in the kit, but where the unit is model specific it shouldn't need more than the 1, but early / later models might vary.

Even though the ISO should enable the easy installation these more often have the additional outputs, that duplicate some in the ISO, as per the link above.

As said to confirm the HU output is passing through the ISO really re installation of the original HU is needed, to identify the amp feed (live when unit on radio) in the car loom, and then confirm the correct wire in the car loom is still getting that from the Erisin HU.

Another thought.
These units can often have more than 1 antenna out. This would then be adapted to Fakra for the car.

Be sure the radio is connected to radio antenna on the HU, not GPs or even wifi.

Do you know type of aerial amp you have? I think it is one that needs a signal from the head unit.
As the quadlock loom is not shown I can only guess but I think cable 1 would need connecting to PIN 13 in the main quadlock to power the amp.

Obviously verify this before attempting it ;)

Do you have an aerial on the roof of the car?

I suspect you car is too old for a DAB antenna to have been built in the car, so do your testing on VHF.
Pull the short antenna cable out of the back of the radio, then put a wire into the centre connector about a meter long. That will test the radio receiver.

If its not an external antenna they its built into the rear screen, & it will have an antenna amp. Loads have failed on this forum.
But check the radio first with a wire in the antenna out socket.
