Hi,
Over the past few weeks i,ve noticed my car idling speed has become rather uneven after replacing the MAF sensor approx 2500 miles ago i thought i,d better take a look at the throttle control valve (TCV) and give it a clean to try to resolve the problem. This done seems to of fixed my problem but only time will tell.
But in taking the intake pipe off of the TCV i noticed that there was an electrical connection on it just as the pipe turns to go into the TCV, i disconnected it, but it was no plug it was an open sensor which when removed left an open hole in the pipe the sensor seemed very similar to the MAF element but much smaller, .
I,ve looked on the Russian site but this sensor is not shown.
Has anybody else any idea what this sensor is/does?
The sensor is located on the outside edge of the main intake pipe (item 38) just as it turns into the TCV.
