Error msg from Can comms

hi Folks,

Just got back from the garage after getting them to look at my juddering gearbox (judders from 2->1 when going v. slow and not braking) and they told me they couldn't get into the electronics. They got two error codes from different areas ->

p2310 can comm with traction System is faulty.
p1876 can comm with traction System is faulty.

Before I go wallet in hand to MB I wonder if anyone's ever seen this before?

Unplug the electrical connectors to the gearbox, spray some switch cleaner onto the contacts and push them back on tighl.

MB says

Soooo, I just took it to MB....

and they looked at the gearbox oil and changed it. Said it looked like "something might have been going on " !!!

Let's see what happens over the weekend then

Oh - and I didn't ask them whether they fixed the dodgy comms or not - that'll be another "little chat". (Thanks for the tip Matt).

Strange - for some reason when I got a Merc I thought the standard of garage would improve above "something might have been going on " - sigh....
