Hello,
I get a red lit SRS airbag light on display. And a message FRONT RIGHT MALFUNCTIONSERVICE REQUIRED. When I read diagnosis I see the message:
message THE SQUIB FOR EMERGENCY TENSIONING RETRACTOR FRONT PASSENGER HAS A MALFUNCTION THERE IS A SHORT CIRCUIT TO GROUND,
My car has the steering wheel on the left by te way.
I think a connector suffers from oxidation. But I do not know where to look.Under the passenger seat it all looks fine.
I hope someone has had experience on this particular error and can help me out. I went to the dealership. But they have no clue and as always want to replace whole pretensioning unit and seatbelt instead of changing a faulty connector or wire.
